Data Deletion

• Sign in to Fair Soko.
• Open Settings and select the Account tab.
• Open Delete account.
• Enter your current password and confirm that deletion is permanent.
• Select Delete account to complete the request.

Open account settings when signed in.

An account with an active or disputed marketplace agreement must resolve or cancel that agreement first. This protects the buyer, seller, payment records, and dispute process.

• name, email address, phone number, and verification status;
• profile avatar, biography, and marketplace location;
• local seller bank and payout profile details;
• active listings, offers, notifications, and conversations;
• public profile access and marketplace identity.

Fair Soko may retain anonymized or access-restricted transaction, payment, agreement, commission, fraud-prevention, moderation, review, report, tax, accounting, and audit records where necessary to protect users, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or comply with legal duties. External payment, messaging, email, hosting, and backup providers may retain records according to their own legal and operational periods.

Send a deletion request from the email address associated with the account to privacy@fairsoko.com. Include only the information needed to identify the account. Fair Soko may ask for additional verification before processing the request.

Fair Soko uses transactional email to deliver account-verification links and sensitive transaction confirmation codes. Deleting your Fair Soko account removes or anonymizes the local account data associated with those verification flows. The email provider may retain delivery and security records under its own policies and legal obligations.
